Appointed for the refurbishment and the design of a new extension to the 18th century south wing of Blair Castle on the Atholl Estates in the Scottish Highlands. The brief includes the annex of the former Butler’s quarters to the Trustees apartment and re-ordering the sequence of spaces within. The new extension leads to a private garden and offers framed views of the farmland and wilderness beyond.
Zoë Polya-Vitry are collaborating with the Keeper of the Fabric and Architect, Jonathan Gotelee. Together, they secured Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for the proposals and are now jointly executing the project on site.
